Hello Wayne, the reason I put this on genforum is because a lot of people are interested in the Whitus research and I just wanted them to know there is no relation to the Whitis
families of Kentucky other than both families were named
Whitehurst orginally. I tried for years to find a connection to the Whitis family. I found a direct connection to the Whitus family in Curritck County NC with wills, land records and census. I found a huge amount of information in N.C. on the Whitus family with my gggrandfather and all his ancestors back to 1636. Jerry Whitehurst put the history of the Whitehurst family on genforum. Jerry's ID is 5507. This is very long 89 pages. Thanks Robert
