With thanks to Elissa Cramer, I have learned that message No. 614 on this Whitford Genforum contains information about an Ezekiel Whitford who is very likely to be the son of Nathan. The message notes that there is an old cemetery near Greenville and South Westerlo that includes an Ezekiel Whitford and his wife Nancy. The information is:
Nancy, wife of Ezekiel Whitford died June 13 1851 aged 56 years
Ezekiel Whitford died June 15, 1853

Does anyone know what Nancy's maiden name was, or if they had children (names/dates)?
