I am researching my wife's line, and her ancestor was Robert Whiteway, born abt 1820, who was married to Ann Tuff born in 1824. I have them being married in 1824. Their son Eli is the direct line of my wife, but, can't seem to trace Robert back any further. Little new to Canadian genealogy research, so any direction appreciated!
