Harold E. "Corky" WHITESEL Jr., 53, of R.R. 7, Box 502, Altoona. died
unexpectedly Saturday morning, Feb. 15, 2003, at his borne. Born April
2, 1949, in Altoona, he was a son of the late Harold F. Sr. and Thelma
J. (Kemberling) Whitesel. He was united in marriage to the former Linda
Kay Sharp Aug. 10, 1973. in Bellwood. Mrs. Whitesel survives. He is also
survived by one son, Chad Jason Whitesel of St. Benedict, and two
daughters, Erin Beth Parks of James Creek and Amanda Jane Weikel of
Royersford. There are five grandchildren. Mr. Whitesel was a member of
Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hollidaysburg. He was employed as a
maintenance electrician at the Juniata Shops, Norfolk Southem Railroad.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb., 19, at the
Kingdom HallJehovah’s Witnesses, Frankstown Road and Sylvan Heights
Drive, Hollidaysburg, with Speaker Steve Krammer officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home,
Bellwood.
