Anyone traveled to Trentham, Staffordshire, England?

Just curious if anyone here has traveled to the ancestral seat of the Whitehursts in Staffordshire, England, whether that be Trentham, Dilhorne, or just the general area. I would like to make a trip there (I'm a descendant of William/Richard Whitehurst who went to Virginia c. 1636).

I'm looking on tips for any places to see that might have been of importance to the Whitehursts 400-odd years ago (i.e. churches), books, and other general sight-seeing recommendations.
