I've been working hard to find Frank's family and would appreciate any help with this. Frank was born in Norfolk, VA and came to Baltimore, MD with his brother William E. in about the 1870s. Frank was married in 1876 to Anna Ripke of Baltimore County and had a family by 1880. The census shows his brother living with him. They show up on the Baltimore Directories. Both are sometimes mariners. Some of William E.'s family moved to Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania I believe about the time of William E.’s death in 22nd of June 1917. Some of the descendants of that line are now living in Irwin, PA. I’m descended through Frank. Some of his descendants live in Baltimore area still. Some live in Idaville, PA. W. Frank Whitehurst died in April 1888 and was buried on the 16th at Baltimore Cemetery. Others of his descendants are there as well. Please contact me if you might be able to help.
