In Reply to: Mary Whitehurst (Abt 1757 - 1847) m. Daniel Bullock by Terry Honan of 998

I have a book called "The Families of Bullock and Roebuck" that is full of Bullocks in Pitt County, NC. It was written by James Garland Bullock of Greensboro, NC. Mr. Bullock was born in 1907 in Pitt County.

The only reference I can find to Daniel Bullock is on page 5 --- "North Carolina Continental Troops Staff: (Hathoway's Vol. #1 Page #1-424.) Lieutenant Danial Bullock, Nov. 28, 1776, Ninth Regiment under Col. John P. Williams."

There is no other mention of him in the book and I cannot find Mary Whitehurst either.

Hope this helps.
