I am looking for descendants of Esir H Whitehurst, born in Pitt Co N.C. died l878 in Tishomingo Co Ms.

Esir and wife had the following children:

l. Eli. m. Emaline Hensley. I am trying to find descendants of their girls,Amanda Emaline, C.E. (don't know name, just initials), Elizabeth Catherine. I lose track of Emaline and the girls after l875. I think the girls married and went west. Also looking for more descendants of Sidney Tapley Whitehurst and James T Whitehurst, sons of Eli and Emaline.
Eli had a first wife, the child from that marriage was Esir D Whitehurst who went with his mother, Sylvania Reed, and her second husband, Nathaniel Reed, to Arkansas-also looking for those descendants.
2. James T. Methodist minister, have met some of his descendants, but some may have went west.

3. Eliza, married a McGehee/McGee the first time, this was in Tishomingo Co Ms. Second husband may have been a Willis. After the l850 census she diappeared off the face of the earth. By McGee/McGehee Eliza had two girls: Elizabeth and Margaret. Eliza and second husband may have went west.

4. Elizabeth? Possibly one of Esir's children, married George Washington Hensley, brother to Emaline. They went west. Know of some descendants, need to make contact with others to verify some genealogy.

5. Minerva, married Reuben Marlar. I believe she died before the l850 census was taken, but she may have had a daughter.

I would like to know of more descendants of these people for genealogical purposes and to let them know of the next Whitehurst Reunion.
