I have just started working on a Whitehurst line and checked here to see if I could find anything. I am searching for family of Simon Whitehurst of PA Co., VA who married Mary Ann Elizabeth Scott in 1782 in Beaufort Co., NC. You are looking for a William Fletcher Whitehurst and my information shows that Daniel Whitehurst b. 1800, son of Simon Whitehurst and Mary Ann Eliz. Scott had a son Daniel who married a Jincy Fletcher. Maybe this is where your FLETCHER name comes from. If you connect to his line, I would love to hear from you.
