This Esir D Whitehurst was born in the late l840's. His father, I believe, was Eli Whitehurst and this Esir was named, I think, for his grandfather,Esir, or Tishomingo Co Ms..

I have researched the Whitehurst line for over 20 years, and have never been able to find those ARk descendants of Esir D. He went to that state with his mother, Sylvania Loller Whitehurst and his ste-father,Nathaniel Reed. Evidently, Eli and Sylvania were divorced, for he remarried.
