The following information was copied from the family Bible, in my aunt's possession, and reads as follows:Tully Dozier and Susan Whitehurst, married June 7, 1867.
1.Frances Whitehurst-mother of Luke Whitehurst, died Jan.5,1834.
2.M.Whitehurst-father of Luke Whitehurst, died,Feb.17,1844.
3.Luke Whitehurst married Courtney (last name unreadable), Jan.22,1829.
4.Courtney Whitehurst, died June 4, 1852.
5.Luke Whitehurst died Dec.4, 1864.
6.Addia Whitehurst, d/o John J. and Littia Whitehurst, b.Jan. 31, 1884.
The above info was all that was readable in this very old Bible. I wish I had it in my possession. Perhaps, though, this will be able to help someone out there in cyber land and in turn, help me. Good hunting.
