To get the ball rolling I submit the following which is compiled from various sources including Rebecca Sanders Book "Grandfather of Us All", Will records of Norfolk County, Cavaliers and Pioneers, etc.

Richard Whitehurst was born in Trentham, Staffordshire England about 1606. He first appears in Norfolk County, VA records in 1648. It is unknown when he came to America and it is unknown if he was the son, brother, or same person as the William Whitehurst who appears in James Vanerit's headright claim of Oct 17, 1636. Richard and his wife Ellen had the following children (birth order/dates are somewhat arbitrary):

William Whitehurst (c1633-1702)
Richard Whitehurst (c1636-1704)
James Whitehurst (c1639-1721)
Robert Whitehurst (c1642-1679)
John Whitehurst (c1645-1691)
Ellen Whitehurst (c1648-????)
Susan Whitehurst (c1651-????)
Princess Anne Whitehurst (c1653-????)
