1332 Lay Subsidy
Posted by: Earl Davis Date: October 10, 2000 at 14:11:07
  of 997

A Whitehurst found on the lay Subsidy assessment for Dilhorne and Forsbrook, Staffordshire, England of 1332 is one Richard del Whythurste.
This provides further evidence of the original of the Whitehurst surname in the vacinity of Dilhorne, Staffordshire. Dilhorne being the neighbouring village to the settlemnt of Whitehurst.

Hope this is of help.

Regards
Earl.
