Cousin Tess: I am Joel's sister, and your namesake Tess' Auntie Anne. Besides our pedigree, what do we know about the Whitehursts? All we know here is that they were mostly planters. I heard that a Whitehurst accompanied Wm. Penn, and that a Whitehurst was a colleague of Davy Crockett while he was in Tennessee. Do you know anything? Do we come from a glamourous planter family? Any writers, upstarts, famous ghosts? I would love to know, unless of course it's really boring, which certainly couldn't be. I know a little about the California Whitehursts, but so little about the ancestors. I'd love to communicate. Very best wishes, Cousin Anne
