The full name of my research subject is "Batson Whitehurst COX", First name is Batson, middle name Whitehurst last name COX. Hope this dosen't cause confusion with other researchers. I can't find my COXs parents or siblings where he was born in Virginia 1804....My first record of him is in 1837 in Arkansas where he raised his family and died 1864.
I KNOW [feeling] that his "mothers" surname was either BATSON or WHITEHURST, so I'm hoping for a connection from those surnames to my COX. Its just to big of a coincidence for him to have those two names without being related to the BATSON and/or WHITEHURST lines. Am desperately searching for any connection. I can't seem to connect him through Argent.
Any ideas would be MOST welcome!! Any connection would add a whole new line to the BATSON or WHITEHURST lines so it would be valuable to many researchers besides me.
Feel free to e-mail
