I have some Whitehouse kin that were in Ohio, Farmouth, NS.
Also some at Chogoggin Point.
Unknown Whitehouse was born in England and was a soldier in America. After the war moved for his health to Canada.

Had 3 children, William, Joseph and John.
William (my ancestor) married Mercy Roberts, They had 9 children born from 1804 to 1824 (Harris, Benjamin, Willam, Abigail Joseph, Mercy, Loviea (SP?), Hannah and Jacob).
Joseph was a violinist, married Mary Pitman and had 11 children.
John returned to the States.
Jacob is my Great-Great-Greanfather.
His son, Maurice, moved to Kansas in the 1870's.
If not helpful, I hope this was at least interesting.
