David Whitehouse of West Bromwich, Staffordshire
Posted by: Caroline (ID *****7580) Date: October 07, 2008 at 17:00:26

Hello,

I am looking for:

David Whitehouse

David was a coal miner.

He married Pheobe (Hinton? - if this surname is correct then they married in 1838 in Tipton/Dudley).

They had a daughter Mary Whitehouse (born in 1857 in West Bromwich). Mary married William French in 1881, in West Bromwich.

If I have the right David, then according to the 1881 census, he was born around 1815 in West Bromwich.

That Mary's parents were David and Pheobe is certain, as they are on her birth & marriage certificate. I am not sure if the census entry is for the same David, and therefore not certain of his birthdate and birthplace.

Does anyone connect to this couple or their daughter?

Thank you,

Caroline
