kathy - it was a surprise to me to run across your posting. i used to correspond with your grandmother, your great uncle john clare whitehorn, and your great aunts edna may whitehorn peverly and catherine lois whitehorn. they were absolutely key in my learning about my own family and i have taken it from there. i am the great grandson of your great grandfather geneo worth whitehorn's younger brother francis felts whitehorn ("uncle frank").

as to john warren whitehorn's death date and location of burial, i have not yet seen any confirmation. i believe it was edna may whitehorn (dau of austin monroe) and an older cousin of gladys' who told me that john warren whitehorn was blind and living with austin monroe at University Place, Lincoln, Nebraska when he died ca 1905. i was able to confirm that he was living with austin monroe at university place on the 1900 census, but i have never sent to lincoln for a possible death certificate nor have i ever been able to confirm where he is buried. it is a matter of great interest to me. best wishes, tony whitehorn
