Whitehorn Family Genealogy Forum
I am trying to fill out my family tree. James Whitehorne (the family spelling has an "e" on the end of the name) is said to be my g-g-grandfather. The story has it that he and his wife, Elizabeth Ward, emigrated from Southampton and settled in what is now known as Ottawa in Ontario, Canada.
Elizabeth Ward died prematurely and James Whitehorn subsequently married Carolyn Flegel. James Whitehorn's children included Charles, Ernest, and Florence Ruth.
Florence Ruth Whitehorne is my g-grandmother. She married Thomas Rodney (1872-1962) in 1898 and died in 1946. She was probably born circa 1875-1880 (Florence's first child, Inez Ruth Rodney, my grandmother, was born in 1899).
Does this information tie in with anyone else's information regarding a 19th century James Whitehorne?
