I'm trying to determine the ancestry of George Whitehead and other Whitehead males marrying in or around Boston in the early 1700s. Specifically, I'm looking for the parentage and Whitehead lineage of Frances Whitehead who married William Groom in 1761. It seems likely that this line will lead to one of the Whitehead immigrant brothers of Branford, Ct as the surname is somewhat uncommon. Does anyone know any info on Frances beyond her marriage and children? About George Whitehead and Rebecca Barret, who seem like probable parents of Frances given the names of the Groom children?
