Has ANYONE out there pushed beyond 1690 with Johannes Weishaar's ancestors? I can get Johannes back that far and I can pin him down to Keskastel, Alsace, France/Germany. I'm convinced we Weihaars came from further east, from either Germany or Prussia, though.
I have no proof other than there being NO evidence of any Weishaars in Keskastel, Alsace prior to Johannes.
So, to paraphrase Slim Pickens from Blazing Saddles, "Where in the wide, wide world of sports did he come from!?!?!?"
Any leads would be appreciated. At one time, I had contact with a Ranier Weishaar in Germany, but he vanished without a trace. After that? Nothing.
