If you have some more info, I might be of some help.

I am not originally from Atlanta, but I have some knowledge of Whited geneology and it just so happens that my gggggrandfather was Francis Whited of Surry Co NC abt 1760- abt 1840. His name was passed down through several generations. There was also a Francis Whitehead of Baltimore in the late 1600's. As far as I know, we all were Whiteheads until about 1800.
