Barrie, You are right WHITEBREAD is not a very common name. I am a Whitebread and it is very interesting that you have information on Whitebreads from England. My WHITEBREAD tree starts back in 1762 in the town of Frankenberg, in the Upper District of Province of Marburg, HessCassel, which was a province of Germany. The only info that I have every heard of coming from England, the name was not WHITEBREAD, but WHITBREAD, which is a famous beer in England. Are you correct in the spelling??? If you are I would like to trade history. Dennis Whitebread Illinois
