I have been searching the Whitbread Brewry family for 2 years, and I have not found anything anywhere on Samuel Whitbread's family. I contacted the Whitbread Historian at the Whitbread Corporation, and they graciously sent me a book on the history of the brewry, but there is no family tree outlined in the book. My GGGM is suppose to be from this family, her name was Susannah Whitbread born 1810, married to John Poyer on Dec 5, 1825 in London, widowed remarried a Richard Boys (aka boice, boise, boyce), came to Michigan in 1851 with 3 children. Her family supposedly disowned her because she married a employee of the brewry. I'm guessing it will take a trip to England or paying someone there to do the searching.
