Hi Sue,

You will undoubtedly have noticed a Joseph Whitebread and family living in South Street, Enfield, near neighbours to Edward. He would have been born around 1798 and his place of birth is given as 'out of county' in 1841, subsequently 'Scotland', his wife and children all born in Enfield. Do you think this Joseph is Edward's eldest son? If that is the case, then Edward's marriage could indeed be the 1797 Northumberland marriage I mentioned previously. What do you think?
