I have seen the register entry, but did not make any notes other than to confirm the date and the spelling of Enever. As I assumed who Thomas was, I obviously saw nothing to contradict this. The entry would not necessarily confirm who he was - there was no requirement at the time for any specific details of age, family, or address. My assumption is based on the location and the use of Edward and Jane as children's names. Ann could have been the daughter of William and Mary Enever. The baptism of the first born shortly after the wedding (or even before in some cases) seems to have been quite common!
