Hello James,
Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner.

Both the Black & White Notley PRs do cover the period when Henry Whitebread and Jane Woodward would have been baptised. I checked both parish baptism registers 1590 to 1621 without success.
I did find the baptisms of Anne and Joan Woodward, daughters of John Woodward, both baptised 21 Oct 1607 at White Notley. The name Joan was difficult to read and I agonised for some time over whether it was Joan or Jane and in the end reluctantly and without confidence settled on Joan. Of course I could well be wrong and someone else could read the name as Jane, I'll recheck in 2006.

I also searched both parish baptism registers 1620 to 1657 for James Webb and Alice Whitebread and also failed to find their baptisms.

There is a gap in the Black Notley registers 1676 to 1735 but my searches were in the period prior to 1676 so it was no problem.

I assume from your reply to me that you do not have any details of the above people. Do you have any clues to where they might be found?
