I have the same data, except for "signer of the original Illinois State Constitution," and the addition in my records of "Capt." to John Whiteaker II. Source: Whiteaker Family Bible in the possession of Owen Luther Dalton in 1954 at the time he wrote a family story, Family Sagas. After his death, the Bible could not be located. Quote by O.L. Dalton,1954: "The dates and names up to and including John Whiteaker III, taken from Whiteaker Family Bible Record, 150 years old. This record I now have in my possession, where it has no doubt found a home." Bible printed by M.Carey and Son, No. 126 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, 1818. The name "Cottargue" Hargraves was used by A.D. Whiteaker, oldest son of William Claybourn Whiteaker (son of Miles and Barbara Seabaugh Whiteaker 1843-1943. O.L. Dalton in "Sagas" used the name "Catherine."
