I am also a descendant of John Whiteaker III through his son Miles Crittendon Whiteaker.Here is the information I have:

John Whiteaker I 1720-1743 (m. Claybourn)
John Whiteaker II 1742-1783 (m. Crittendon)
John Whiteaker III11/26/1780-3/7/1844.Married Catherine Hargrave(AKA Caterina) 8/1/1785-9/22/1837 on 2/25/1807 in Logan Co., KY.He was never a senator from Illinois, but he was a signer of the original Illinois State Constitution at Kaskaski in 1818.John was one of two representatives from Union County.John and Catherine moved to Illinois in 1809, and are considered one of the early pioneers of the Illinois Territory.
Miles Crittendon Whiteaker, son of John III & Catherine, was born in Illinois in 1818, migrated to Dunklin Co., MO (in the boot-heel).Miles married Barbara Seabaugh b. MO7/24/1818.Children of Miles & Barbara:
