There have been several posts about Perry G. White, but we never seem to get anywhere. According to the 1850, 1860, and 1870 Census records, he lived in Pennsylvania, and was born in Maryland around 1811/1812. I can't find anything concrete about his parents or siblings, but I have a lead on a potential father. I found Elijah White living in Frederick County, Maryland in the 1820 Census. There were two males under 10 years old, and one male between 26 and 45. There were two females under 10 years old, and one between 16 and 26. I found Elijah again in the 1830 Census, still in Frederick County, Maryland. There was one male between 15 and 20 years old, and one between 30 and 40. There was one female under five years, one between five and 10, one between 30 and 40, and one between 50 and 60. While not definitive, it is practical to believe that Perry White could have been in this family as he would have been under 10 in 1820, and between 15 and 20 in 1830. Since the Census records before 1850 give us minimal information, I don't have much else to go on. I am hoping someone can help me to prove or disprove this potential connection. Any ideas?
