White marriages, London, early 19thC
I am looking in particular for information on Lettice or Letitia White. This would be her married name. From census data and her death certificate she was born in St Clements, London, about 1770-1775.
There are two candidates that I've found in IGI
(1) William White m. Letitia Anderson, St Leonards Shoreditch 25/9/1814. I have checked this in the parish registers and it is correct. Letitia Anderson was a widow but Anderson could have been her maiden name as there was a Loetitia Anderson born in 1772 in the Lying-In Hospital (then in Brownlow Street, Long Acre).
(2) Thomas White m. Letitia X, Bethnal Green, c1818: it's contributed by an LDS church member but there is no source information, and no further detail.
I would very much appreciate any information on the spouses in either marriage. William (or Thomas) would have been the brother of Ann White, my ggg-grandmother, who married William Henley in Woburn Bedfordshire in 1805 and had two sons John and William in 1809 and 1810, but about whom I have no other information. Mrs Lettie White was the only family witness at her nephew John Henley's marriage in 1838.
