David Lloyd White, 85, of Erwin, Unicoi Co TN, passed away
Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at his home.
Mr. White was a native of Erwin. He was the son of the
late Jonathan White and Maggie Goforth White.
He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. White served with the
U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. White owned and operated
White’s Automotive in the Fishery Community for many
years.
Surviving are his sons, David Lloyd White Jr., of
Murfreesboro, TN, Ben White and wife, Marsha, of Colorado
Springs, CO, and Dan White and wife, Susan, of Jamestown,
TN; daughters, Carolyn McNeeley and husband, Tom, of
Baneberry, TN, and Billie Harrison and husband, Johnny, of
Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grand-
children; brother, J. L. White, of Erwin, TN; and sister,
Loretta Ledford, of Johnson City, TN.
The family will attend a private graveside service.
