Thomas E. White
SHREVEPORT, LA - Memorial services celebrating the life of Thomas E. White will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Broadmoor Christian Church, 6005 Youree Dr., Shreveport. Reverend Barbara Driscoll officiating.
Mr. White passed away July 11, 2009. He was born January 30, 1918 in Naborton, LA. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. White donated his body to science for medical research.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva White; parents, Thomas S. and Julia White, two sisters, Leta Mae Causey and Mary Beatrice White.
Survivors include son, Robert B. White and wife Mary of Kerrville, TX; daughter, Suzette Orr and husband Rod of Bossier City, LA; grandsons, Tony Candella of Bossier City, LA and Doug White and wife Tami of Spring, TX, four great-grandchildren, Jayce and Mariah White, Dana and Haley Candella; sisters, Helen Wilkerson and Grace White; nephew, Chris Wilkerson, and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Roy Fleniken and staff at the Northwest La. War Veterans Home, also members of Broadmoor Christian Church for their loving support.
