White Family in Chester, SC, 18th and 19th Centuries

Does anyone know about the White family living in Chester, South Carolina, between 1750 and 1850? I am descended from Elizabeth White who married William D Roddey. Elizabeth was born around 1795. Most people are saying her father was Thomas White b. 1768, and her mother Catherine Culp b. abt 1770, but I haven't found a will or anything to prove that.

And who are Thomas White's parents? Some secondary sources say they are Edward White b. abt 1730 and Elizabeth Lockhart Martin, but, again, I haven't found wills. The closest thing to hard evidence I have is a census putting a Thomas White as a neighbor of an Edward White in Chester between 1790 and 1800.
