Rick-- I'm a little confused by your response of October 25, 2005 to my inquiry of October 24, 2005. If you will check your original posting #8333 to this White Family Genealogy Forum on May 28, 2000, you included a long list of descendents of Adam White. The descendent in your posting that I am particularly interested in is Jemima White, b. 1808, daughter of Zacharia White (see below). Descendants of Adam White 1 Adam White 1627 - 1708 ..2 Moses White 1665 - 1735 ....3 Joseph White 1710 - 1808 .... +Margaret Leeth - 1748 ......4 Joseph White, Jr. 1737 - 1807 ...... +Sarah Headley ........5 Zachariah White ..........6 Hugh White 1803 - ..........6 Jemima White 1808 - ..........6 J. L. White 1811 - ..........6 Nancy White 1813 - ..........6 Avy White 1818 - ..........6 J. R. White 1821 - ..........6 Joseph White 1823 - ..........6 Ruth White 1824 - ..........6 Rebecca White 1826 - ..........6 Zachariah R. White 1829 - 1862 My g-g-grandmother was Jemima White, b.1811-1818, Alabama, married April 8, 1830, Lauderdale Co., AL., to Alfred Mobley. Do you know whether the Zachariah White and Jemima White in your original posting were in the Alabama/Tennessee border area in the early 1800's? Is so, do you have any further information on that family? --Larry B. Mobley, Foresthill, CA.
