Rick, I am a descendant of General James WHITE. I am attempting to follow the trail that leads to Mary Isabel WHITE, Daughter Of Thomas S. WHITE, and Great Granddaughter of General James WHITE the founder of Knoxville, TN.
If you have any information of which of General James White's sons gave birth to a Thomas S. WHITE, maybe his wife's name if you know it, even children would be great. I am told that she was native american. Cherokee. I have located the proof that I am related to Iroquois and Shawnee, that no one seemed to know about through another distant ancestor, but this is the one that seems to be the biggest enigma. If you can help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much in advance.
