A biography/family history of Edmund Whitcomb is included in "Progressive Men of the State of Montana". Parents: John and Mary (Draughbaugh) Whitcomb, born in PA and Germany, respectively. On 29 Jun 1871, Edmund married Miss Catherine A. Durgin, born in Maine and came to Montana in 1861. She died 23 Nov 1888. In 1891, Edmund married Mrs. Margaret Kitson.
