I have a Joseph Attila ARMSTRONG (b. 28 Mar 1849) married to Melissa Jane WHITCOMB (b. 1852-53). She was known as "Jane" in the 1860 census. I have nothing to confirm that she could have been known as "Jennie". I was given a marriage date of 21 May 1874 by another researcher but have not confirmed this. The ages in the newspaper are almost dead-on. Anyone have anything to help me prove this is them?
