Hi, I'm looking for any information on the parents/family of my great-grandmother, Lydia Whitcher. She was born in 1874, I'm not sure where, but possibly Franklin County, NY. My father recalls that she had "an accent" so she may be from New England. She married Lucius Daggett in Franklin County. They had 7 children: Ruth b. 1899 (my grandmother), Nelson, Alfred, Mahlon, Sarah, Susie, Florence. She is proving to be elusive! Thank you for any info you might have! !
