In searching for my ancestors, I came upon a Samuel Whitbread listed as a witness to my grandmother's first marriage. My grandmother was Florence Miller (b. 3/19/1892), daughter of John Miller and Mary Ann Moore. She married Albert Williams on 1/16/1918 at St. Jude Parish Church, Newcastle on Tyne. Her female witness was Margaret Miller, who may have been a sister or cousin.
Do any of these names mean anything to anyone? I would love to share information with you.
