Hi Cheryl,

I can't help with descendants of George Arthur's siblings, but his father George may be on my tree. I have George Edward Whitbread, christened August 2nd 1840, in Shefford, Bedfordshire, parents Stephen Whitbread and Emma Wright. Stephen's parents were Edward Whitbread and Sarah Chandler, who are my 4xgt grandparents. The 1881 census shows your George Arthur and his family, living in Woodhouse Hall, Nottingham, with father George born in 'Sharford'. I think this should be 'Shefford', as I can't find a Sharford in Bedfordshire. I'd be happy to send my connections directly to you if you are interested.

Hope this helps,

Carol.
