MY grandad was fredrick whitbread born in sheffield in 1916 to fredrick Whos father was john william whitbread his father was also john william of sheffield who ran a beer house! His father was james who was born in lincoln who came to sheffield in 1837 who was born in bedford. I know that there are two whitbread familys in bedford that are not related one of which is samuels, did all the whitbreads start in bedford, i know some of them emigrated to america in 1920s but as yet havent got that far, anything ring a bell let me know
