Milford and Katherine Whitaker

I am trying to get info on Milford and Katherine (dunn) Whitaker. Milford and Katherine married between 1918 and 1923 probably in Cairo Illinois. In 1920 Milford is in the household of the Gannon family in Cairo Illinois. I can't find Katherine in any 1920 census , she had married a Sam Meeks in Missouri in 1918. In the Cairo Illinois paper dated September 21 and 22 , 1923 I found where Katherine Whitaker had commited suicide in Ullin Illinois outside a dance hall where her husband Milford Whitkaer was. The article says she died before she got to the hospital in Cairo. She was buried in the Beech Grove cem.. Does anyone have any info on her or husband ?
