Not sure how this relates to the Allison Whitaker mentioned here but the dates and time frame match to fit here and might help located another piece to the family.

See memorial dated 1775/02/25.

Date: 1775/02/25 Description: WHITAKER, RICHARD, MEMORIAL FOR 250 ACRES ON ALLISONS CREEK, CRAVEN COUNTY. Names Indexed: WHITAKER, RICHARD/ PATRICK, WILLIAM/ MCCORMICK, JOHN/ PATTIN, THOMAS/ LATTIMORE, ROBERT/ WHITE, ESTHER/ Locations: CRAVEN COUNTY/ ALLISON CREEK Type: MEMORIAL/ NOTE: See Plat 1773/04/19

The two land records come off the SC Archives on line site and have seen the actual documents. Allison Creek can be found in Darlington County SC up into Anson/Mecklinburg County NC areas. Was looking for Richard Whitaker around Allison Creek when hit on your message. Noted also that Richard Allison wed Eleanor Whitaker.

Possible Richard Richardson married into the White family and there is an Eleanor White still trying to work in a relation to Esther White (born about 1756 but still working on it) noted here. As far as a realtion to Esther White and Richard Whitaker she only held the lands southeast of those Richard got in the land records above. Believe she is the wife of my ancestor Levi Harrell RS born 1750 Anson NC died 1806 Barnwell SC but still lack the key records to confirm this as have not linked her to a direct Harrell or other White which has been linked to the Harrell. Trying to do it through other common family such as the Whitakers and Allisons in the same areas. So far have a Doctor Thomas White probable wed to Elizabeth in right area to be main ancestor of many of the Whites in the right time and areas to be related as he died about 1760 and his children started showing on land records around 1769 (among them was Eleanor White) in this area along with other folks found with Richard Whitaker of some Allison on Allison Creek.

Also noted a Hudson Whitaker 1757-1817 from the Halifax area of NC was an officer in the Militia and have a Zachariah Harrell and Isaac Harrell still trying to fix as right relation to other Harrell have fixed with Levi Harrell RS 1750-1806.

Have a lot of toes and fingers on this Harrell Skeleton just no leg or arm bones to connect them to a solid Harrell body.

Also have placed the other persons mentioned with selected Harrell just not directly with Levi yet on land records. Think a fire in Darlington District SC when it was part of old Craven County SC in 1806 caused the loss of the records I need to comfirm things with my Levi Harrell RS.

OH! Levi Harrell and Esther White had children up to last known child daughter Esther White born 1801 would wed an Isaac Allen in GA and died in 1882 there. Sons of Levi Harrell said left the Carolinas for GA as early as 1804 and late a 1806 for Wilkinson County GA (original county formed 1802/3 from indian lands) later in Telfair formed 1807 and Pulaski formed 1808. Esther (White) Harrell as widow of Levi died Barnwell SC area by 1806 followed her sons to GA and in 1816-1817 is noted having an affair with a Conrad Augley married man in Pulaski County witnessed by an Isaac Harrell. Conrad Augley was named on Levi Harrell RS 1750-1806 estate papers in 1806 in Barnwell with Levi Harrell (born 1777 son of Levi RS/SR 1750 and thus grandson of Jacob Harrell both Levi named Jacob will dated in 1787 filed Charleston SC) and Esther Harrell (his widow). Believe Conrad followed the family to Georgia into Pulaski County.
