Don't have a lot of information but H.W. was a cousin of my Grandfather, Everett Reason Whitacre. Dolley made the best ever brown sugar cookie! A real treat. We used to visit them at the Whitacre Family homestead on Whitacre Road in Wood County, Ohio. We also visited their kids - Donald & Doris, Winnie , Wayne [Red] & Dorthy Belle. I think there were two or three more sibs. My grandfather was born at the homestead and it was sold to the "other part" of the family after the death of Thomas Whitacre my g-grandfather. Thomas was married to Neamette [sp? don't have my notes with me] Loe. My grandmother always said that the Whitacre's and Loe's intermarried a lot. Can't put my finger on who I know of Sweebe's[Martha?] but they were also relatives we visited when we went for rides in the country.
