His son, Peter Burlington Whisenant was born Oct. 2,1857 and died April 2,1922. He is buried in Zion Hill Ch. Cem. in Morganton,NC Burke Co.Peter was my great grandfather and his daughter Ophia Estelle Whisenant was my grandmother born in Burke Co,NC May 3,1893 and died in Davidson Co Thomasville,NC Dec. 27 1981 in my home. She was 88 when she died and I was her caregiver. Her daughter , my mother was Ophia Mae Collins and she died Jan. 6,2001. I am trying to locate some relatives on this side.
