I'm sure I'm related to Harve. My father was Brady Allon Whisenant, born in Pisgah, AL/Jackson Co. Alabama in 1903 to Lant and Sarah Whisnant (Whisenant--they dropped the "e"). My father had 8 siblings--I can't remember all their names, but the ones I remember are Jim, Rose/Rosie, Birdie, and Allie --- I remember hearing my father Brady talk about Harve Whisenant, but I can't remember the relationship. I never met any of my father's siblings except his sister Allie because my father moved to Fort Myers, FL in the late 20's. Allie and her husband Elijah Ridge, their daughter Bonnie and son Delmer later moved to Fla also. I don't believe Harve was a sibling of my father -- but maybe a cousin or uncle. The Pisgah Whisnants descended from one of three German brothers who landed in So Carolina in around early 1800's---one stayed in Carolina, one settled in northeast Alabama, and one settled in Meridian, Miss and founded a large feed grain business.
