Hello Roger

I came across your reply about the Whiskers totally by accident. I saw your posting about Blackstocks in Dumfriesshire and was just checking to see if you had done alot of searching in Scotland and whether or not you were likely to know of the usefulness of the IGI and there you were with a history of posting on the Whisker forum with a message for me. I received a message from you a few months ago and it just said 'test message' I replied to you but never heard anything back. Computers are great but not infallible.

I would love to hear about whoever it is is related to the Whiskers in Airdire. The Whiskers came originally from county Down in Northern Ireland. My father is a direct descendant of Edward Whisker and Sarah McClurg who came to Scotland.

Going back to the Blackstocks. On the Pedigree Resource File at there are a couple - Kevin & Virginia Owen, 525 E. St. Kitts Meridian, ID 83642, USA who have submitted lots of Blackstock names from Dumfriesshire. They might be able to help with information about the Blackstocks.

Looking forward to hearing from you about the Whiskers on the west coast.

Thanks again.
