I am a "trust but verify" amateur genealogist, and as such, my hat is off to Blaine Whipple, who must have sifted through a mind-boggling number of wills, deeds and vital records!!!
I am having trouble finding the evidence for Martha Whipple - 21969, dau. of Maj. Matthew 6065 and his third wife Martha, née Denison, [Wiggin] [Thing] Whipple. Listed as a twin of Nathaniel (b. 2 September 1711) was this Martha, who married Ebenezer Hartshorn, mentioned in a will?
