The confusion comes because JONATHAN had a name change. He
was born in Mass with surname WHELDON; to SC in infancy with parents due to witchcraft hysteria.

JONATHAN WHELDON/WHILDEN born <1689> Mass; to SC from Danvers, Essex, Mass; died 1736 Charelstown, Berkeley, SC; married ELIZABETH DuBOSE 1721 @ Jamestown, Berkeley, SC; she born 1691 Jamestown, Berkeley, SC, daugh of ISAAC I.
DuBOSE and SUZANNE COUILLANDEAU.

I've been researching WHELDON/WHILDEN/WHILLDIN etc. family for several years. Drop me a line @:

atompkins001@hvc.rr.com

I can give you Family Groups from JONATHAN back to the immigrant.

JOHN DuBOSE and MARY WHILDEN had daugh MARY, but her spouse is HENRY SPARROW; she married 2nd JOSIAH CLEMMENS, but I am unaware of another spouse by name ISAAC WHITWORTH.
Could you give me your source?
